Was ist Breathwork?

Breathwork is a transformative practice that harnesses the power of the breath to bring about profound changes on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Through conscious and deliberate breathing, deep states of relaxation, self-reflection, nervous system regulation, and healing are achieved.

The breath is the key to connecting body, mind, and soul. By consciously directing and deepening our breath, we can release trauma and blockages, reduce stress, and connect with our inner selves.

There are various techniques of Breathwork, including Holotropic Breathwork, Rebirthing, numerous Pranayama techniques from yoga, and the Wim Hof Method, each offering different approaches to breathwork. However, they all focus on the breath as a tool for self-healing and spiritual development.

During a Breathwork session, an experienced facilitator guides participants through the breathing exercises, supporting them in delving deep into their inner process. The experience can be intense and evoke feelings of joy, sadness, fear, or euphoria as the body and mind release old patterns, trauma, and limitations. The nervous system is regulated and strengthened.
